The boat-building is still going well, but slow as mashed beans. We’re doing our first sail-test tomorrow in the early-morning calm. It gets crazy windy here in the afternoon. That means we’re still in Ceiba and unfortunately haven’t yet had the opportunity to taste Guatemalan prisons. But, I do have ringworm, yaaaaargh!

Sounds like you need another recipe for beans, the mashed beans appear to be going too slowly for you. Don’t let the ring worm get out of hand, its no fun then.
We wish you good luck, keep the mainland always in sight on your port side is a good navigating idea. I am assuming that you are not carrying a radio or GPS system, thus keeping in sight of land is a good substitute.
We look forward to seeing your final boat pictures. We are watching your progress from Dawson City Yukon, leaving for Inuvik in the morning (Saturday) and should be their next Tuesday. Hopefully we can log in then for an update.

Even with greased beans I’d never win a bean race.
We are well-equipped for island-hopping with an arsenal of rescue equipment including a GPS, radio, Anna and lots of tuna.
Thanks for the well-wishes, have a great time in Inuvik.
